The Association publishes its newsletter, VCSTA News, up to four times per school year, with the intention of keeping its  members at almost 50 schools apprised of developments in the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese in particular, and in education in general. The Association web site is an adjunct to the newsletter.

VCSTA News welcomes reader submissions, whether in paper or digital form.

In particular, the VCSTA:

• seeks to improve working conditions and benefits for its members

• financially supports after-school workshops.

• provides bursaries to members for professional upgrading.

• produces a quarterly newsletter.

• transmits concerns from members to appropriate personnel.

• maintains a liaison with the central executive of the CISVA.
